We acquire and modernise established Australian industrial manufacturing and construction trade-services businesses, working deal by deal rather than as a fund — which lets us commit real time and attention to each one.
Our model is hands-on. We take control positions, sit at board level, and stay close to the operators who run the business day-to-day. We bring strategic governance, financial and digital capability — they bring the trade expertise and customer relationships. Both matter.

Peter Forster
Pacific Field Capital is led by Peter Forster, who also chairs and oversees the operations of Port City Roofing.
Before founding Pacific Field Capital, Peter spent almost 25 years in financial services and corporate development. In his last role he was CEO of BNZ (Bank of New Zealand) Investment Services in New Zealand, responsible for over A$10 billion in funds under management and 250,000 investors. During his corporate career he held senior roles across Bank of New Zealand, MLC and the National Australia Bank spanning strategy and M&A, governance, digital transformation and distribution.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University in Melbourne, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Hong Kong in partnership with Columbia Business School in New York, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
